From childhood scribbles and tentative sketches to finely honed skills in painting and textile art, Robin’s creativity has been constant and continually evolving. Her artistic journey began in textiles—sewing, crocheting, and embroidery were early muses that shaped her eye for texture, rhythm, and pattern. In 2022 she expanded her practice to include watercolor and acrylics, thoughtfully adding vibrant layers and new techniques to an already rich repertoire. Working in modern impressionism, Robin allows color and light to suggest form, inviting the viewer’s eye to blend hues and discover shapes from a distance. She takes particular joy in color mixing and the study of color theory, using those tools deliberately to bring lively, expressive pieces to life.
